Earthquake hits Toronto

WOW! I’m sitting at my desk and all of a sudden my entire reception area starts to shake. Our reception counter looked like it was walking and our glass cabinets rattled like little beans. I knew we were experiencing a tremor. I could feel it in my feet. I felt it before in the 1980s
Most other businesses in my building didn’t feel it and I was a bit embarrassed to state it was an earthquake until we turned on the local news. Yup, its was an earthquake.

Southern Ontario and parts of Quebec and New York have just experienced a earthquake measuring at 5.5-magnitude.

Free Skating at Port Credit Memorial Arena

There is also an outdoor rink just outside the arena. It looks so pretty.
This winter I have seen kids skating on the Port Credit River. It has been plowed into a circular skating area, although I wouldn’t attempt it with this current weather.
